Affectionally known as “Cassa” of Waverley Cot, St. George and formerly of Chadderton Road, Carrington Village, St. Michael, entered peacefully into rest at age 67 at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Former employee of Massy Distribution.

The funeral of the late Gregory Lawrence Newton leaves on Tuesday, October 27th, 2026 for the St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Brighton, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for the Service of Thanksgiving followed by the interment in the Churchyard. The Organist and members of the Choir are kindly asked to attend.
The body will repose for viewing one hour before the commencement of the service at the Church.
Floral Tributes may be sent to Ry Williams Funeral Services in care of Tudor’s Funeral Home, Ivy Main Road, St. Michael no later than 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
